The narrow alley leading to the hotel makes it difficult for taxis to drop you off directly at the entrance, which can be inconvenient with heavy luggage. the rooms, while nicely decorated, can be a bit dark due to limited natural light. the staff is extremely helpful and friendly, providing excellent service and recommendations for activities in the area. the breakfast served at the hotel is delicious and a welcome change from the local cuisine. the central courtyard of the hotel provides a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere.

The nearby mosque can be quite loud in the early morning, waking guests up before they may be ready to start their day.

It was very clean and our room was serviced every day. The continental breakfast was good and served until, at least, mid morning. The photographs on the web page do the decor justice.

The Riad is located next door to a mosque and so the call to prayers at 5.40 every morning is very loud and clear. The proprietor, Marie, does not speak English and so all guests need to have a good basic command of French or Arabic. It is also very easy to get lost in the maze of alleys and narrow side streets that surround the location of the Riad. The location is also in the north of the Medina and so very few foreign tourists are seen in the area - it can be isolating and some people might find it intimidating.the review of the Riad on the website mentions a tea ceremony and spa treatment, neither of which were offered to us during our stay. Also the views from the roof top terrace are poor (e.g TV and satelite aerials).

The service was excellent and so friendly. Always smiling, always trying to make our stay enjoyable. The riad was the only place we found peaceful in the whole city. We were really well looked-after, and all our needs were fullfilled. Thank you very much.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The location inside the old town was just perfect. It was within walking distance to the main square and the bustling souks, making it convenient to explore the city. The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful, always ready to assist me with any questions or requests. The room was luxurious and provided enhanced comfort. The bed was so comfortable, and the air conditioning ensured a pleasant temperature throughout my stay. I also appreciated the in-room amenities such as the ironing facilities and in-room safe. The free Wi-Fi was a bonus, allowing me to stay connected during my stay. The hotel had a lovely patio area where I could relax and enjoy the ambiance. this place exceeded my expectations and provided a high-quality service.

I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

Riad Terange was lovely to stay at. George looked after us from start to finish and have to thank him for his hospitality. It's a lovely Riad with gorgeous rooms and excellent service.

On the second night we decided to move to a hotel because every morning at 5am, we were woken by the prayer call which came through a loud speaker in the hotel. They obviously couldn't turn it off because it's their culture! The hotel is also located right in the heart of the Medina so you're in amongst people living along the little alley ways etc. and we found it quite intense. Some other people may enjoy that though. Apart from that, the Riad was perfect.

They continuously went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable, happy and content. the location was ideal, with key attractions, shops and restaurants all within a short walking distance. my favourite aspect of the stay was the comfortable and spacious rooms that were kept clean and tidy every day.

Some of the calls to prayer from nearby mosques could be heard in the morning which may disrupt light sleepers. the breakfast selection could have been improved and offered a wider variety of options.

    - The wifi was free (bad connection) - The rooms were pretty clean (some dust on the floor), new towels every two days - The Riad and the rooms looked nice, a good eye for detail

    - Absolutely no service from the owner and his brother, who run the Riad. The brother who was the person we needed to turn to if there were questions, couldnt really speak english. Both were mostly busy chatting with girls, instead of helping us. We asked for advice for trips, to ourika or a night in a Hamam. They just gave us one voucher, no other recommendations, and sighted when we asked if we could look up information on the computer. They were lazy and not helpfull at all. - The shuttle service to and from the airport was NOT FREE, even though on the website it appeares to be a free "service" from the hotel - The night before we left, we had to ask for the shuttle service outselve, they also didn't calculated the ammount that had to be paid. They didnt prepare anaything well - The breakfast was poor - Every morning at 5am the Mosque wakes you up with loud talking through a microphone which is during 15 minutes - There was no tea ceremony as said on the website - There was nog nearby spa or wellness center as said on the website - There was no hook to hang on the shower head - The airconditioning didn't work all day long - The Riad was about 20 minutes walking distance from the square, you had to go through several alleys to get there Shortly said, we didn't feel welcome at all and we also didn't feel really comfortable leaving our stuff at the hotel with the owner and his brother. They also seemed to be more interested with chatting with girls on the computer than helping us.

The decor is traditional with modern touch to it. Very clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. We had a bit of communication problem as she cannot speak English but that's why people travel right, to experience different culture. The owner of the Riad is also very helpful and friendly.

the toilet plumbing isn't very good as it smells abit but I guess that's how the system works there and there is probably nothing much they can do. cable tv didn't work as well.

We loved the friendly staff, always ready to help. The hotel's central location was perfect, allowing us to easily explore the old town. The rooms were incredibly comfortable and clean, with air conditioning. The bathroom was spotless, adding to the overall cleanliness of the hotel.

Riad Teranga was the perfect accommodation for a short break in Marrakech. It is full of character, tastefully decorated in typical Moroccan style, and offers a warm and friendly atmosphere. We were a family of two adults and 3 teenage children in two charming rooms off a first floor gallery looking down into a beautiful little courtyard. The rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfortable, with good ensuite bathrooms. Lots of attention has been paid to the detail, which makes you feel the owners really care about pleasing their guests. The manager/proprietor, Pape, could not have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were good and varied, including some home-cooked Moroccan specialities such as pancakes and cake. The call to prayer at 4.30am did wake some of us up, but after a few days we just turned over and went back to sleep. Wherever you are in Marrakech, this is going to be a feature; the fact that the local Mosque is virtually next door to the riad means it is louder, but you just accept it as part of the Moroccan experience. The riad is located just outside the Souks, in a quite 'untouristy' part of the city, but the local people are very nice and helpful, and the 15 minute walk through the Souks to the main square was always full of interest. Some good restaurants nearby: Dar Zellij just around the corner (set menus start from c. £30, but worth it for the experience) and Cafe Arabe. We went for a taste of true Marrakech - and we found it here at Riad Teranga.

One small thing: we had a bath in our ensuite, which we really appreciated, but it would have been nice to have been able to hook the shower head up to give us the option of a stand up shower. The children's room had a great walk in shower.

The staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. They provided us with excellent service and went above and beyond to cater to our needs. The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring the city, with easy access to taxis and nearby attractions. the rooms were clean and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere.

There were no major negative aspects to our stay at the hotel. However, it would have been helpful if the hotel had provided clearer directions on how to reach the hotel, as navigating the streets can be confusing for first-time visitors.
